About GAC Patiala
The Govt. Ayurvedic College Patiala and hospital is one of the apex institute of Ayurveda in Punjab working as a model institute for evolving high standards of teaching, training, patient care and research activities. Established in 1952, it was affiliated to PFPSU Ayurvedic board, later on it was affiliated with Punjab Ayurvedic & Unani Faculty of medicine in 1970. thereafter the institute got affiliation from Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab. After establishment of Baba Farid University of Health Science Faridkot, Punjab, the institute was affiliated with BFUHS from 1999-2011.
The institute is affiliated with Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab, Hoshiarpur since 2011 and has been declared as constituent college of Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab, Hoshiarpur in June 2023.
The institute has following AIMS & Objectives
• To promote the growth & development of Ayurveda.
• To produce skillful graduates and diploma holders in the field of Ayurveda.
• To provide Medical Care to suffering people through Ayurveda System of Medicine.
• To conduct Research Activities for future growth of Ayurveda system of Medicine.
